Anonymous: just wondering how hard it is to actually study abroad over there. the only university i know of is Stockholm University, and i was looking into costs and how hard it would actually be to study there and live and whatnot.. haha sorry i'm just really Curious!

The other one’s I know of are Uppsala and Linkoping, those are the only other ones my university offers exchange with. I think it depends on your school. I wanted to be close to the city so I chose Stockholm.

For me, the cost of studying was just the cost of my university tuition, but if you actually enroll there is a fee for international students, its listed somewhere on their website.

The cost of living is really high, but its doable. I live in Seattle so I’m used to high rent, living in university accommodations here is actually way cheaper than my rent in the US so in that regard I’m saving money.

It all depends on what you think is worth it. This might be the only time in the next 10 years of my life or so that I’m able to do something like this, so I decided it was worth the extra cost.

I’m really enjoying my time in Stockholm so far, although I’ve only been here a week.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I’m happy to answer them!
